FHN Junior Huskies Cheerleading Senior Scholarship
The FHN Junior Huskies Cheerleading Senior Scholarship was created to acknowledge the dedication and hardworking spirit of Forest Hills Northern High School senior cheerleaders who demonstrate excellence both in the sport of cheerleading and in the classroom.
This scholarship honors senior athletes who have chosen to give back to the FHN Junior Huskies Cheerleading program by volunteering their time, talents, and leadership as mentors or senior coaches. Through their service, these athletes exemplify the values of integrity, pride, enthusiasm, discipline, tradition, honor, and commitment, serving as positive role models for younger athletes in the program.
The annual scholarship award ranges from $500 to $1,000 and is awarded once per year. For the current season, the recipient will be announced and recognized at the end-of-year banquet.
Eligibility & Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a graduating senior cheerleader at Forest Hills Northern High School
- Have volunteered with or mentored athletes in the FHN Junior Huskies Cheerleading program
- Demonstrate leadership, character, and commitment to the sport and community
- Submit a written essay as part of the application process
The selected recipient will receive a scholarship check to be used toward educational expenses, including tuition, books, and other school-related costs.
